| Opened in late 2000, the Owl's Head dog run is a "joint venture" between the Parks Department and a new volunteer group called Friends & Neighbors of Owl's Head Park. The run is around 150-feet long and 40-feet wide and it's located in one of the city's most beautiful parks overlooking New York Harbor.
